MicroInfluence Local, a local-business service offered by MicroInfluence ("we", "us", or "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use this website, contact us, enquire about a service, register referral interest, or work with us. We handle personal information under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable data protection requirements.

Information we collect

When you use a website form, we collect the name and business name you provide, your email address and/or phone number, the service you are asking about, your message, any referral code, and your consent to use the information to respond. Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, and request logs. If you become a client, we may receive business information, documents, images, and other materials needed to deliver the agreed work. Do not send passwords or sensitive account credentials through website forms.

How we use information

We use information to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver agreed services, manage referrals, maintain business records, secure the website, and meet legal obligations. We process information where it is needed to take steps at your request or perform a contract, meet a legal obligation, or where you have given consent. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Service providers and international processing

Cloudflare provides website hosting and security; Neon provides the PostgreSQL database; and Resend delivers email alerts to our owner inbox when a new form submission is received. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and may process it outside Nigeria. Our Neon production database is configured in the AWS US East 2 (Ohio) region. We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information where required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

Security and retention

We use HTTPS for data sent to the website, keep database credentials server-side, restrict dashboard access to the owner, and use service-provider security controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver the agreed service, administer referrals, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We securely delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Your rights and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we process your personal information, request access or correction, request erasure where available, object to or restrict certain processing, request portability where applicable, or withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use optional analytics or advertising pixels. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. If we add optional analytics, advertising, or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and provide any required choices.
